Tottenham are weighing up using Nabil Bentaleb to push through a deal to sign Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko, reports say.
Bentaleb’s career in north London appears to be closing in and Schalke have launched a £10m bid for his services.
But Spurs may throw the Algeria international in a proposed deal to finally land French star Sissoko this summer.

The Daily Mirror say relegated Newcastle are interested in Bentaleb, 21, and may be tempted to part ways with Sissoko if the deal includes an exchange transfer.
Sissoko has attracted attention from a host of clubs since enjoying a producing Euro 2016 campaign with host nation France.
Premier League rivals Crystal Palace and Everton are reportedly monitoring his situation, although Inter Milan are thought to be leading the race to secure his services.
Sissoko has made over 100 league appearances for Newcastle since joining the club from Toulouse in 2013.
