Charlton endured a torrid afternoon at the Valley today, as visitors Ipswich cruised to a 3-0 victory.
Daryl Murphy gave the Tractor Boys the lead with a first-half header, before Freddie Sears secured a 2-0 cushion before the break with a deflected shot.
Murphy then added his second of the afternoon after superb play allowed the forward to slot home past Stephen Henderson.
Home fans were clearly frustrated with their team’s efforts, as boos rang out at the interval.

Striker Simon Makienok suffered a frustration game and was cheered by supporters after being taken off with 20 minutes remaining.
