Leyton Orient goalkeeper Gary Woods has joined Ross County on loan until January.

The timing of the move is a surprise considering Alex Cisak will miss Saturday's trip to Exeter due to international duty and Woods was on the bench in last night's Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat at Luton Town.

Woods has not featured this season and the 24-year-old's last appearance for the club came in the 4-1 home defeat to Scunthorpe in January.

It means Charlie Grainger is almost certain to stay in the side and youth keeper Sam Sargeant could be in the squad for this weekend's League Two match.

When head coach Ian Hendon was asked last night if Grainger will remain in the team on Saturday, he replied: "We'll have to wait and see. For me I haven't seen the goals yet but there was absolutely no chance with the second goal. The first one we'll look at but the way Danny Green hit that I don't think there would be too many that stopped that."
