Did you know about 77% of our world is reliant on Artificial Intelligence well if you didn’t

the youth of 2023 had a riveting debate on the question ‘Will the expansion of AI be beneficial for society?', this article will shed a new light on AI - led by the students of Gumley.

Artificial Intelligence can be either considered an asset to humans or the cause of their laziness, what do you think? Some believe that AI will set us back and that it's not beneficial for society, as our nature to explore/learn is matched by a number of devices.

Others argue that humans are the cause of their own laziness. In fact, Artificial Intelligence creates human efficiency, as it's a tool that will exceed the current generations carrying all the knowledge that is put into it, to the future!

Artificial Intelligence has displaced jobs leaving people unemployed. It's essentially a matter of trust as AI does not have empathy and emotions which at times we need, in many if not all jobs, whether as an accountant, or a recruiter. However, artificial intelligence may have taken over some jobs, but it makes life easier for others. Humans tend to be forgetful so having something that can access all kinds of information, immediately is quite beneficial. It can also help those who are less advantaged to do more complex things.

Artificial Intelligence is behind 8% of all crimes, increasing the crime rate. It functions the way it's programmed to, in some cases, it's up to us in which way we use it. AI's motives tend to be an interesting subject, are you for or against it?
